ANNOUNCEMENT OF ADMISSION OF GRADUATE STUDENTS FROM ABROAD

For the graduate programs at the Institute of Science and Social Sciences, foreign students will be accepted in accordance with the Principles Regarding Admission of Students from Abroad in 2020 - 2021 academic year
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
a- To be able to apply for the graduate programs, the candidates should be foreign nationals,
b- Student must be a senior student or graduated from an undergraduate program
c- Candidates who graduated from universities in Turkey with a foreign student status must not have received a penalty for removal from the higher education institution they graduated because of disciplinary crime.
APPLICATION
1.The applications will be made in electronic form on the application page together with the following application documents at the announced application dates. All fields of the pre-application form on the WEB page of our university must be filled in. Incoming applicants will be evaluated and candidates will be contacted. Click for the form.
2.Students’ application will be accepted if the institution where they are trained are approved by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR APPLICATION
1- Printed version of online application form
2- A copy of diploma (Diplomas of candidates graduated from foreign universities- foreign representatives - certified Turkish translations
3- Official transcript document (undergraduate transcript),
4- A copy of identification card (Photocopy of identity parts in passport),
5- Two ID Photo,
6- Reference letter (2),
7- Letter of Intent (A letter from the teacher about his / her graduate purpose, studies and projects)
8- CV,
9- Certificate of Turkish / English language proficiency.
Note: Applications for more than one graduate program cannot be submitted at the same time.
ENGLISH PROFICIENCY
1- It is a must to certify the English Proficiency of the students in order to start the university's graduate programs
2- The English proficiency of the citizens of the countries whose official language is English is decided by an interview by Foreign Language Coordinator and a written examination if necessary.
3- Students are required to certify that they are successful with the examination results documents taken at the level determined by the Senate or at the international examinations of which equivalency and validity period are determined by the Senate in terms of their English proficiency Candidates must submit a valid English proficiency certificate at the time of application. Those presenting the current language certificate may begin their graduate studies without taking the English proficiency test at the university.
4- Students who can not submit an internationally valid foreign language certificate are required to take the University's English Proficiency Test and score at the level determined by the Senate.
5- Students who fail to submit or fail to submit documents for the following examinations are obliged to continue to the English Preparatory School of the University.
6- The provisions of the KFAU Foreign Language Preparatory School Education and Examination Regulations of Konya Food and Agricultural University apply for the conditions for starting preparatory class and graduate program.

TURKISH EFFICIENCY
1- Students who are enrolled in programs with a language of instruction in Turkish are required to certify their Turkish proficiency.
2- Students who score B1 or above (Medium) level of Turkish Proficiency exams taken from exam centers accredited by TÖMER or Higher Education Council may start their graduate studies.
3- For he/she who completed his undergraduate education in the Turkish education institutions in Turkey, Turkish Proficiency Certificate is not required.
EVALUATION OF APPLICATIONS AND FEES
It is decided whether to accept applicant or not to the programa by considering transcript general average, foreign language exam result, letter of intent, references. Applicants whose applications are accepted will be notified by e-mail by the International Affairs Coordinator with a notification letter containing information on the compulsory prepayments and registration. A notification letter will be sent to the candidates listed in the list if they have not started their transactions or have not made a prepayment within the specified period. he prepaid amount is deducted from the first semester tuition fee registered. If you make a prepayment, the prepayment fee will not be refunded to the person who has not completed the registration process. However, if the student's visa application is rejected, the pre-payment will be refunded if he / she applies to the University with a document proving it.

VISA AND RESIDENCE PERMIT PROCEDURES
1. Candidate students coming from abroad shall get an “Education Annotated Visa” with an acceptance letter taken from their country or from the nearest Turkish Consulate. After this process, they may enter Turkey. The candidate students themselves are responsible for carrying out the procedures related to the student visa and all costs of this process.
2- After completing the registration process at the university, students are obliged to obtain residence permit for study within one month from the date they enter Turkey and those
with a residence permit taken outside Konya are obliged to carry their files to Konya. It is the responsibility of the students themselves to cover all the costs of this process.
3- In the documents required by the University for visa and residence permits, the general instructions related to foreign students of the authorized public institutions shall be taken as basis.
DOCUMENTS TO REGISTER FOR GRADUATE PROGRAMS
1- Documents for registration:
a- Diploma (Students graduating from foreign universities should get Turkish translation of their diplomas approved by official authorities- foreign delegations),
b- An equivalency certificate taken from Higher Education Council for the diplomas from foreign countries,
c- Transcript (Original copy),
d- Original copy of TOEFL, YDS / e-YDS / YÖKDİL results or Pearson PTE Academic CAE result or result of English Proficiency Exam by Foreign Languages Coordinatorship of Konya Food and Agriculture University (for the programs whose medium of instruction is English),
e- Original copy of Turkish Proficiency Exam carried out by TÖMER or by the exam centers accredited by Higher Education Council,
f- Original copy of Student Visa taken from foreign delegations
g- Passport and its Turkish translation approved by official authorities- foreign delegations,
h- Residence Permit,
i- 4 Photographs.

NOTE: Candidates cannot apply more than one undergraduate program at the same time. After online application is completed, the approved copies of the application documents should be sent to the University by hand or by mail within application period. The applications made after the application period will not be assessed.
